We are committed to keeping your personal data secure and to defending your privacy. We have adopted suitable organisational and technical measures to protect your data, and we are registered with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office as a Data Controller, reference ZA355799. This Privacy Policy describes what data we may hold about you, what we use it for, how long we will retain it and your rights in relation to the data.
Information we hold about you:
Log data
Our website uses 'cookies'. to store information on your computer. You are advised about this when you visit the site. Some of these cookies are essential to make our site work.
The website host logs data such as an IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited etc. in order to keep the website secure. However, we do not ourselves have the ability to identify you personally from this data, and we will not share it with any third parties, except under the circumstances detailed below in Exceptions.
We do, however, have access to a log to show the number of 'hits' on each page of the website for monitoring purposes.
The company has a Twitter account and a Linked In profile. The latter reports who has viewed the profile.
Address Data
If you request a place on a training course or send an enquiry on the website, your e-mail address will be received via our company email address and logged on a secure page within our website administration area. You may request a place on a training course directly via email or telephone. In both situations, Address data will only be used for business purposes. We will send fliers to schools or to individuals using work email addresses to advertise upcoming courses and events. We will never share your Address Data with any other third parties, except under the circumstances detailed below in Exceptions. We normally use Address Data only for the purpose of sending fliers, confirmation of bookings, invoices or any other correspondence necessary in connection with the business e.g. emailing to arrange in-school support, advising about cancellation of a course or change of venue, requests made by yourself for documentation following a course. There may be instances where personal email addresses are used that have been provided by yourself as a means for contact. We will retain this data until either (a) you tell us to delete it, or (b) we discover that it is no longer accurate, or (c) we cease to do business.
Other Personal Data
If you book onto a course, your name will be recorded for purposes of a course register. Course registers are kept on file for reference purposes. You may also request documentation after a course that may be sent by post to a school. Special access arrangements or dietary requirements will also be recorded to pass onto the venues, but names are withheld. We will never share such information with third parties, except if it is necessary in order to help you, or under the circumstances detailed below in Exceptions. We will only use such information for the purpose of assisting you and we will delete it after it ceases to be relevant, or earlier if you tell us to do so.
Contractual Data
If you supply us with goods or services, we will retain data which is relevant for the fulfilment of our contract with you, and for accounting, taxation or other regulatory purposes. We will never share this data with third parties except to the extent necessary to fulfil the contracts, or under the circumstances detailed below in Exceptions. We will retain this data for a maximum of six years after we last did business with you.
Information we do not hold about you
We do not retain any other data about you than as described above. We do not share your data in any form with third parties for ‘analytics’ purposes and we do not accept advertisements for third parties on our websites or in our other communication with you.
Our services are not directed to be used by children but solely for schools, teachers and other professionals.
International transfers of data
Our webserver is hosted by iPage in the United States. Our e-mails are sent via Outlook.com.
Your rights
You control the personal data you share with us. At any time, you can request to see this data, or for us to amend it. You can request that we delete your Address Data and Other Personal Data. You can also request that we cease using your Address Data for sending you fliers or booking confirmations.

If you wish to raise a concern about our use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local supervisory authority or with our supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner’s Office. Exceptions
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Privacy Policy or controls we may otherwise offer to you, we may preserve, use, or disclose your personal data if we believe that it is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation or governmental request; to protect the safety of any person; to protect the safety or integrity of our websites; to address fraud, security, or technical issues; or to protect our rights or property or the rights or property of those who use our services. However, nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to limit any legal defences or objections that you may have to a third party’s, including a government’s, request to disclose your personal data.
