A maths problem solved!

These two new half-day workshops focus on strategies to help children to become more confident problem solvers.
 
In end of key stage assessments, problem solving continues to be an area where pupils find it difficult to make sense of what they are being asked to do.  
 
In these practical sessions we will explore metacognitive approaches, including how to model and encourage pupils to think like mathematicians when problem solving. 
 
These workshops are suitable for subject leaders, teachers and teaching assistants.

KS1 session runs from 9:15 – 11:45 am
KS2 session runs from 1:30 – 4:00 pm
