Welcome to our website.
Through our advisory work in schools, we have developed
particular expertise in supporting the leadership of mathematics
and improving learning and teaching in the classroom.
We have worked with teachers, subject leaders and senior leaders resulting in significant impact on outcomes for children. We have a wealth of experience in primary education, including senior leadership,
subject leadership and consultancy.

Our extensive knowledge and understanding of mathematics progression and pedagogy ensures we are well placed to write and present CPD for schools and be involved in national and international events, including NACE, Rising Stars UK, UKLA, MacMillan Education Caribbean.
Steph is also an author for the publishers Hodder Education, Rising Stars UK, Pearson,
Oxford University Press, MacMillan Education, Harper Collins and GL Assessment.
We are also an accredited PD Lead with NCETM (National Centre Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics).

Steph King
Steph King is a mathematics education adviser and author with 30 years’ experience in primary education, including senior leadership, subject leadership and ten years as a mathematics adviser for a local authority, before working independently as AK Mathematical Solutions Ltd. As part of her role, she works alongside Senior Leaders, Subject Leaders, teachers and Teaching Assistants to raise attainment in mathematics, focusing on strategies to secure learning.
